‘Befriending your inner critic to stop imposter syndrome, perfectionism and procrastination.’ 

In this workshop you will learn how the mind works and why our inner voice is often so critical that we play safe or procrastinate.  Ali will share a range of mindset tools throughout the session to help you start to befriend your inner critic.

11am Kate Miller - Tibetan Singing Bowls

‘Enjoy the gentle sound of Himalayan Singing bowls’

This is a hands on workshop where you will hear about the history and mystery of these amazing vessels as well as learning to play, harmonise and enjoy the deep relaxation of beautiful sound. Bowls will be for sale at the event and profits donated to the Kagyu Samye Dzong Lodge.

‘Using a parachute to make fun & friendship’

Leave the demands of everyday life outside and simply have fun together. This taster session is designed to encourage using both sides of the brain concurrently, developing memory, movement, creativity, thinking on one's feet and improvisation and did I mention having fun?!! 

“My name is Lee Ure and I'm a retired teacher & Inclusion Consultant. When I retired, I went to York Uni as a full-time student and gained a Masters in 'Theatre: Directing, Writing & Performance' with Distinction, just because I have a love of theatre, and had found drama a very powerful tool in the classroom, especially for well-being and confidence.”

11am Yoga with the Frog Project

Reconnect Body and Mind and take yourself out for 45 minutes with our Yoga Taster session. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned practitioner, come along and step on that mat and allow your body and mind to be taken to a different place.

Most of the time we are carried along by the force of emotions, habits and conditioning and end up feeling tired and stressed by everyday life. Practicing meditation can change this. Join Ani on our taster Mindfulness Meditation sessions in celebration of International Women’s day.
